Tried it Tuesday: Flip Flop Feet Prep (A quick easy way to pretty feet)

My Tried it Tuesday post is a little late this week, but I have a very good reason  – baseball.  Baseball is in full swing (pun intended) around here which means most of our evenings will be spent at the ball park.  It’s a crazy, busy time. And even though the weather is getting warmer, and it’s time to sport shorts and flip flops, I don’t have time for a pedicure.  Fortunately, I have found a quick and easy way to get my feet looking good.

Here’s the trick.

1/4 cup  vingegar

1/4 cup Listerine  (I used the blue and it turned my feet blue, but the blue washed off.)

1/2 cup warm water

Soak feet for 10 minutes. Next dry your feet and buff your heels (I just used a rough wash cloth).  I did this right before bed, so afterward I applied Burt’s Bees Foot Cream (coconut oil would work just as well) and then slept with socks on.  And voila!  The next day I had smooth heels.  If only getting ready to wear a swimsuit were this easy!
